Sadhana Top is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 3130m (10,269ft) above the sea level, located in the Himalayas, Tangdar in Kupwara district in Kashmir valley, in Jammu and Kashmir, India.
It connects Karnah valley with rest of the world especially Kashmir. It has a population of over 60000. It has one Degree College and four higher secondary schools and a number of primary and middle schools.

Karnah is surrounded by Pakistan Administrated Kashmir and Sadhana Top is the only way to connect with the rest of Kashmir.

Why the name "SADHNA TOP".

Sadhana top which is approx 10000 ft above the sea level has various historical stories. The only reason behind its popularity is due to heavy snowfall and blockage of the road. So, today I am going to tell you an uncovered secret but the most important story behind the name "SADHANA".There is a very popular Bollywood playback singer named "SADHANA SARGAM".She visited district Kupwara in past but the exact date is not known, and I also tried my best to find the reference but didn't found anything. Meanwhile, someone told her about a very high and popular top in the district (Sadhana Top but was unnamed at that time). So, she went there, there were many army officers present there to welcome her. When she reached there the army officers said,"Maam,we have nothing here to welcome you,but we have decided to name this top after you".From that day it's called Sadhana Top.

The word LIFE has two meanings Forget Everything And Run or Face Everything And Rise. It's true believe me or not, life is a chain of the continuous learning process. If you are not going to learn from it your own way, then it's going to teach you its own way. A very simple example is of a teacher and a student. In these two, one has to dominate and usually, a teacher dominates. Just like Darwin's survival of fittest, same is the case here, if you want to survive you have to compete with yourself. Either you have to struggle, fight, face hardships, sleepless nights or life is going to thrash you its own way and believe me a day will come when you will say life is not fair with me. It's because you are fair with life. You have to give tough time to life. If you are not willing to do so then that day is not far away when you are going to say"I am good, but this world is not", and believe me if that day comes in your life then you have to sit down and have a look at your past. You have to analyze what was wrong with me. Allah has given us the mind to think and analyze our past, and because of this mind humans are placed above each and every organism present in the universe.
  If you want to be anything in this world you have to fight this life, and I believe that we think life is fair its because we have luck, food, sleep, taste, thirst, sex, porn, laziness etc but in reality, these all are the friends of life but not your's. If you want to succeed in life you have to cut the throat of all these or again I will say they are going to cut your throat. Now, the question arises how we can cut their throat it's very simple in asking but difficult in doing. So,what you have to do is if you love sleeping then sleep less, if you love eating eat less, if you love gadgets then try to maintain a distance from them, wake up early in the morning, take a bath in cold and crush your life and I know its very difficult but believe me it's not impossible. when you will achieve that, believe me, a new era of success and believing in yourself will start and it will definitely open new ways for you.

From time to time evolution of each and everything takes place, in each and every field sooner or later. But it may be good or bad irrespective of our choice. Same is the case, here in education. There was a time when Imam Gazali RA, used to run along with horse every day to gain knowledge, and that is why his hard work paid off and he became Imam of the whole Muslim ummah. Today we are having a number of degrees so-called qualifications, but we are very far far away from morals, ethics and the real education that is the need of this era. I would like to conclude my whole talk in the form of a story below that I have heard but have no answer of its authenticity.

There were four friends who went on a trip to Dubai, as we all know that Dubai is very popular for skyscrapers. So,they went to a hotel and asked the manager for a room. Manager decided to gave them room but kept two conditions. First one was that there is no room except on the 100th floor and second one is that there will be no lift after 10:00 pm. They agreed and decided to took the room. They were enjoying a lot and everything was going fine, but one day they were late at night and the time was over 10:00 pm, so there was no lift. They were already exhausted after enjoying whole day. So,they decided to go through stairs,which was not an easy task. So they made a plan, that we are four and this is hundred story building so what we will do is we will divide it and in return, we each get 25 stories, and each one of us will tell best moments and stories of their life. They all agreed and decided to move away. The first friend started and told his best moments of his life and they were able to cross the first 25 stories. Then the second friend started and told his story and crossed the other 25 and then third and then fourth. When the fourth friend started he tried his best to make them energise and laugh. They all were tired but tried their best to reach their goal. They reached at 99 and then hundred. Their room was in front of them, they were exhausted but decided to listen fourth friends whole story. When he was over they decided to rush towards the room and then fourth friend stopped them and said,you all listened my stories and best moments, don't you want to listen worst story of my life. His friends replied,do you have any bad story. He said yes, of course, we all tried our best, reached here but unfortunately the worst moment of my life is that I have forgotten the keys of our room in my car..........😢

I can't imagine their feelings, but today we all have the same story as those four friends. We are having the doctorate and Post-doctorate degrees. But the only thing missing is the real education i.e., social engineering, ethics and discipline. Today we are having enough knowledge but the only thing that makes it sour is the lack of discipline.
